The New Hanover County Democratic Party - Stonewall

The Stonewall Democrats are the only grassroots LGBT organization in the country. They work to put fair-minded Democrats into office by educating the LGBT community about the differences between the political parties, mobilizing the LGBT community to get out and campaign and vote and by standing up against the Republicans when they attack the civil rights of the LGBT community. The Stonewall Democrats are the people that get access to Democratic candidates and elected officials and keep them focused on standing up for the equality of the LGBT families.

Wilmington Stonewall Democrats meet at The Old Bookstore on Front Street on the first Wednesday of each month at 6:30PM.
